Tulane Honors Champion of Public Health

New Orleans, LA — At a gala celebration November 17th at the Audubon Tea Room, the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine honored individuals for their commitment to global public health.

Ed Michael Reggie was a recipient of the Champion of Public Health award for his efforts as Chairman of the “Biology to Business” conference earlier this year. The conference, a collaboration between the health sciences centers of LSU and Tulane Universities, highlighted the commercialization of university research. The conference integrated the vision of the three stakeholder groups — scientists, entrepreneurs and the investment banking community.

Mr. Reggie serves as Managing Director of Future Factory, a private equity development firm with offices in New Orleans and Atlanta.
