As Chief Technology Officer, Gregory E. Vaughan leads Future Factory's evaluation of and endeavors related to the area of technology. Prior to joining Future Factory, he served as Chief Information Officer of American LIFECARE, a multi-state managed care organization headquartered in New Orleans. Managing technology initiatives at American LIFECARE for more than 10 years, Mr. Vaughan focused on application development, employing technology to maximize corporate productivity, company wide system integration, and cultivating internal proficiencies in EDI, OCR, and healthcare claim processing automation. Upon the sale of American LIFECARE to Private Healthcare Systems of Waltham, MA, he served as its Division CIO, where he concentrated on data integration initiatives, new product implementations, and successful disaster recovery efforts after Hurricane Katrina. Earlier in his career, Mr. Vaughan directed the information technology efforts of a university and an energy investment firm. His career in information technology began at the age of 15, assisting in a family retail computer business. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in English from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. |
